Chief executive of Apple Inc Steve Jobs has resigned from his 14 year long reign due to some health issues.Steve Jobs was also a pancreatic cancer survivor, he was on medical leave since 17th of January.Time Cook is the new CEO of Apple Inc after Steve Jobs has submitted his resignation.
Steve jobs shared that “I have always said that a day when I could be no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first person to tell you about it.And, unfortunately the day has come.” Steve Jobs has also served as a chief executive of Pixar Animation Studio and was the ember of board of directors of Walt Disney Company.He was the executive producer of movie Toy Story in 1995.
Earlier, Tim Cook was in the command of COO and look after all the operations and functions of the company including Apple’s supply chain, service and support systems and sales activities also.Apple is a leading brand in markets with its best PCs and OS X,iWork,iLife.Recently Apple has also launched the new version of iPad called iPad2 which is breaking all the records of mobile media.
