I wish I watched this show…but I didn’t have opportunity…so far as his answers about this question, must be beyond a religious minded people….though I am a religious minded person to the extent I believe in God: He has created this world…so far as Mr Stephen Hawking’s answer to this questin is concerned I wish I had listened or read it….to tell the truth he might have been right, upto his axis of sceintific unerstandings…..because it is my line of research to in “mysticism”….and I am also working on “time and space” but in short stories….it may sound absurd….but is my madness….what to do ?

I was greatly moved and concerned by the documentary ‘Locked up and forgotten’. There is a school in Mombasa called Port Reitz School that boards and educates children from nursery to secondary school all of whom are either socially disadvantaged or physically and mentally disabled. The school was built in the 60′s and is rather delapidated but the principle, Mercy Mwandeje, never turns a child away. She herself was a pupil at the school when it first opened and is a wheelchair user. The school is run on a shoe string but children are able to be assessed and are fed once a day and recieve education and board. This is a remarkable place. Certainly one that would be an advantage to visit and find out more about. Their is a facebook page: Friends of Port Reitz school for the Disabled. The ‘friends’ are people who have visited the school whilst in Kenya and talked to Mercy and her staff and met the children. Individual children can be sponsored for £8 a month and this pays for their uniform, meals and education and board. Without this Mercy would struggle to provide even the basics and life there is basic enough without the added problem of lack of food, education and proper care most especially if you are a disabled person. Mercy fights for the rights of her children and often comes up against personal discrimination as a disabled woman. I think that the story of her journey with her children and their families would also highlight the difficulties Kenyan disabled children and adults face. Lots of her former pupils have gone on to do well but cannot get work as they are discriminated against the minute it is realised they are disabled. These young people just want the right to work and have a family in the future and live. Their story should be told, the more we persevere the more the government will have to acknowledge disabled rights in Kenya. I teach in a mainstrem school in the UK and also teach in a special needs college, there is great provision here for people with disabilities. For our Part we try to raise funds for Port Reitz School because we realise how inmportant it is that disabled children are given a voice and a chance in life in Kenya. I hope you think so too.

I remember the TIME Magazine article with Sheryl Crow and Lance Armstrong Photographed after a win- Sheryl had one of LANCES twin daughters in her arms; while Lance had his hand raised in vitory. WHO DO YOU THINK WAS TAKING CARE OF HIS DAUGHTERS, while Lance went to train and “WIN”—HIS WIFE,,,NOT SHERY CROW AND NOT LANCE ARMSTRONG.
I understand the YELLOW wrist bands signify Testicular Cancer support-But I look at them differnently. I see: liar, CHEATER and con man. The last person I asked, “Oh what is the yellow band for?”- RESPONSE: “Neil Armstrong” ahhh thats right- no confusement there,- NEIL/LANCE hhaaahaa wrong. Lance is a fake, and will continue to absorb fake notarity!!
