Andy Roddick won his match in the Mens First Round at the 2011 US Open, Which was held at Arthur Ashe Stadium in the USTA Tennis Center on Thursday, September 1, 2011. Andy Roddick (USA) defeat  Michael Russell (USA) by 6-2, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.
The 24-year-old Brooklyn Decker also was on hand at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, to cheer on husband Andy Roddick as he won his match in the Mens First Round at the 2011 US Open.
Andy Roddick (Andrew Stephen) is known for his extremely powerful serve, Roddick held the world record for the fastest serve at 155 mph between 2004 and 2011 until it was beaten by Ivo Karlović at 156 mph in March 2011. After Mardy Fish, He is the second highest-ranked American player. He became a Grand Slam singles champion when he won the title at the 2003 US Open, defeating Juan Carlos Ferrero in the finals, which currently makes him the last North American male player to win a grand slam singles event. Roddick has reached four other Grand Slam finals (Wimbledon three times and the US Open once), losing to Roger Federer each time. He is married to Brooklyn Decker, a Sports Illustrated swim wear model and actress.
