No, Google is not going to drive a car for anyone or nor we will see it on a diver seat, but news is that Google tests car that drive themselves. The Engineers of Google have tested a self-driving car on the streets of California.
The cars use video cameras mounted on the roof, radar sensors and a laser range finder to “see” other traffic, Sebastian Thrun professor of computer science and electrical engineering at Stanford University said
Mr Thrun said the self-driven cars had so far covered 140,000 miles on the road.
Well the question is that is their any accident case when google self driven car was on the road. The answere is NO, their is no accident when google car self driven car was on the road except one when the car was hit from behind at a traffic light
The cars are never unmanned, Thrun wrote. He said a backup driver is always behind the wheel to monitor the software
Our goal is to help prevent traffic accidents, free up people’s time and reduce carbon emissions by fundamentally changing car use,’ said Sebastian Thrun, the researcher in charge of the project.
