The Philadelphia Eagles Have reportedly agreed to a new 6-year, $100 million contract with quarterback Michael Vick. According to The Huffington Post , the Eagles and Vick have agreed on a six-year $100 million contract extension, which is more money (although with one more year) than Peyton Manning was able to get just a few weeks ago. ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmed Brandt’s report on Twitter, adding that the deal includes $40 million in guarantees.
Michael Dwayne Vick played college football at Virginia Tech, where as a freshman he placed third in the Heisman Trophy balloting. Vick left after his sophomore year to enter the NFL and was drafted first overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2001 NFL Draft.
